Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp
Founded in 1875, the small town of Cassadaga is made up of quaint historic homes and the
Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. The Camp is one of several religious communities
established in Florida during the late 1880s. It was founded in 1894 as a winter retreat
for members of the Spiritualist movement. Today, the camp is the oldest active, planned
religious community in Florida. The Camp and religious services (held on Wednesday and
Sunday) are open to the public. Bookstore, auditorium, office and meditation gardens. The
historic Cassadaga Hotel is located nearby.
