Sha-Ujat was formed in 1992 to bring African-American cultural programs to Daytona Beach. Sba-Ujat is an Egyptian expression meaning learning-journey. The focus is on education events which highlight the heritage and history of African-Americans as well as their contributions to American and world culture.
