Community harmony groups

The Daytona Beach area is blessed with several groups that carry forth the tradition of singing in the "Barbershop" style of four-part harmony.

Daytona Beach Surfside Chorus
Affiliated with SPEBSQSA, the chorus meets every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Seabreeze Recreation Center in Daytona Beach. Visitors are always welcome. For more information, call (386) 252-6194.

Sweet Adelines, International
Affiliated groups are the Famous Beach Chorus, which meets every Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Seabreeze Recreation Center. For more information, call (386) 255-4611. Also, The Heart of Daytona Performing Chorus meetings are held every Monday at 7 p.m. at the City Island Recreation Center. Call (386) 252-0300.
